Does CBD come from hemp or marijuana?

Three species of the cannabis plant are known: Cannabis sativa, Cannabis indica, and Cannabis ruderalis. CBD is extracted specifically from Cannabis sativa cultivars that have been cultivated to have high CBD concentrations and low THC concentrations. Hemp is the name given to cannabis sativa, which contains less than 0.3% THC and it is legal in the US. Our CBD products are produced with hemp.
